INTRODUCING FOR 2025: MITTEN

 If you have read my first novel of historical fiction The Dark Side of Heaven, you understand what awaits you as you step deeper into the past before Michigan became and state. 

 Mitten follows several individuals who arrive in the state in the 1800's to begin life anew. It is a novel that seeks to portray the hopes, dreams, and in some cases, disillusionment faced as new Americans set foot on the soil.

 Although the names of the towns may be fictitious, you will recognize them by the small nuances I have placed for you to find. Familiarity with Southwest Michigan will make this book more fun to read, but you need only to be human to empathize with the human struggle to survive.
